The Senior Project Manager for this team serves as the primary resource and coordinator for other employees within the project team providing direction. Through managing often high profile and extensive projects, contributes to the overall direction of the project and the development of its support strategy. Responsible for assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed to ensure timely completion of projects. Must be familiar with projects' scope and objectives, as well as role and function of each team member, in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Insists on mutual support by all team members and models this behavior by frequently sharing information and offering suggestions and personal help, serving as a coach and mentor, providing constructive performance feedback. Consistently sees through complexity and detail to get to the critical issues at hand. Delivers messages, both verbally and in writing, that are clear and concise in nearly every instance, seeking feedback from others on their understanding of one's communication, deadlines, project plans and status.

Responsibilities:
  • Sr. Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of project team.
  • Ensures that deliverables meet time specifications and quality goals.
  • Effectively communicates with peers and management
  • Must possess personal leadership skills, initiative, and strong attention to detail
  • Through strong interpersonal skills, open communication, and a balanced approach, the Sr. Project Manager achieves results and facilitates consensus
  • Manages programs/projects under time, budget, functional and risk constraints
  • Ensures that programs/projects meet overall objectives, standards, quality and user needs.
