The following is more detailed information on Orchid Suites features.

Contributions

Standard sites come equipped with payment processing. However, your organization needs to set up a merchant account through a merchant bank. Learn more. Once you load your merchant account information into the website under the Commerce tab, you need to set up your Contribute page. Once done, you are ready to roll!

Communication

Standard sites come with basic email blast capability that allow for both plain text and html formatted items.
You can upload templates and save them for the next time, view past email blasts and send test emails before the final send. Mailing lists can be created from your list of contacts or you can select options for sending to staff, attendees of an event or all associates (contacts) in the database.

Membership

Your organization can manage members through your Orchid Suites website in a variety of ways:
  • Create sign-up forms (one comes already set up for you which you can edit.)
  • Upload existing members from a database. If this is complicated, we recommend you consult with Orchid Suites first. An analysis of your data may require a fee.
  • View and sort members based on criteria such as zip code, state, etc. as well as their interests, what they have volunteered for or subscribed to. Custom fields possible.
